Sweet victory
To the editor:
The orange that has been sitting on my desk for the last few days tasted especially sweet this morning. The Jayhawk on my shirt looks particularly fine. For the past four months I have taken such a ribbing about my beloved ‘Hawks. My team wasn’t in the Fiesta Bowl – I’ve finally recovered from scrambling to get a ticket in case we played in my hometown of Glendale – but my team made me so very proud, and I want to say to the coaches and players, thanks so much for a wonderful season. Rock on. Rock Chalk.
