To the editor:

I was so saddened to hear about Bucky’s Drive In closing. I thought about all the memories we had there. Mr. BooBooBare, a true hairless Chinese Crested, was a very loyal customer for many, many years and he would tell you the best thing on the menu was the ice cream cone (year round). He was sitting on my lap and before I knew it he had jumped into the drive-through window. We all laughed so hard.

Bare passed away this year so it was heartbreaking to hear his favorite place was closing. We took our daughter Cody there after senior pictures, the MS walk, color guard practice, and more concerts, plays and games than I can count. Thank you, Bucky’s, for giving us a lifetime of wonderful memories.
