2007 storm damage tops $625 million
Topeka ? Damage from the latest winter storm to hit Kansas has pushed the 2007 total to more than $625 million in reimbursable losses.
The state adjutant general’s office released preliminary numbers Wednesday.
Kansas had four federally declared disasters in 2007. That includes the May 4 tornado that struck Greensburg and summer flooding that affected a large swath of eastern Kansas.
