Burglaries and thefts

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a burglary and theft that occurred Thursday night or Friday morning at a residence in the 700 block of Monterey Way. A 29-year-old woman reported that keys, DVDs, bank and credit cards and other items valued at more than $1,100 were taken.

¢ Computer and camera equipment were taken from a residence in the 1000 block of Alma Drive on Saturday, a 19-year-old Lawrence woman told Lawrence police. Loses were listed at more than $2,000.

¢ Three heavy-duty washers and three dryers were taken from Trail Ridge Apartments, 2500 W. Sixth St., according to a Lawrence police report. The thefts occurred Saturday. Losses were listed at more than $3,000.
