Topeka ? Free State High’s Mitch Moore and Lawrence’s Alex Boyer made the finals of the Kansas Class 6A Swimming and Diving Boys State Championships on Friday at Hummer Sports Complex in Topeka.

The finals will start at 12:30 p.m. today.

Moore placed sixth in the 50 freestyle with a personal-best time of 22.34 seconds, and seventh in the 100 butterfly with a time of 53.45 seconds.

Boyer finished eighth in the preliminaries of the 100 freestyle with a personal-best time of 50.02 seconds.
