Bonner Springs – Chrissie Jeannin scored 14 points, Elizabeth Baska added 11 points and Shannon Carlin had 10 points to lead the Chieftains.

THS has won 12 straight.

Tonganoxie (16-2) will play Tuesday at Kansas City Ward.

Piper 36, Santa Fe Trail 30

Carbondale – Kelsi Wiscombe had nine points, while Shara Luther and Amanda Bixel contributed eight apiece in a losing cause.

Bixel added eight boards for the Chargers.

Piper improved to 12-7, while Santa Fe Trail fell to 6-13.

Santa Fe Trail will return to action on Tuesday when it travels to Bonner Springs.

Gardner-Edgerton 62, De Soto 43

Gardner – Kelsey Fisher scored 11 and Katie Williams contributed 10 in the Wildcats loss.

De Soto converted 17-of-25 free throws, compared to Gardner Edgerton’s 23-of-28 charities.

McLouth 36, Kansas City Christian 35

McLouth – Sophomore point guard Missy Rome scored 16 points to lead the Bulldogs to victory.

Senior Abby Annis added nine, while sophomore Kylie Shufflebarger had eight.

McLouth trailed, 28-20, after the third quarter and outscored K.C. Christian, 16-7, in the final period.

The Bulldogs (11-6) have now won five games in a row.

Boys

Baldwin 66, Spring Hill 52

Spring Hill – Brandon Tommer scored 16 points and Justin Vander Tuig added 10, as the Bulldogs pulled away with a strong second-half performance.

Baldwin (14-3) returns to action today, when it takes on Kansas City Turner at home.

Kansas City Christian 53, McLouth 47

McLouth – Senior Mike Rome led the Bulldogs with 16 points in the losing effort.

Junior Derrick Crouse pitched in 11 and sophomore Cole Batman added 10.
