Therapist attends foundation seminar

Randy Freivogel, a physical therapist with Lawrence Orthopaedic Surgery, PA, attended the Hughston Foundation, Andrews Institute, and the Kerlan-Jobe Foundation two-day seminar.

The course focused on assessment, diagnosis and treatment of injuries of the shoulder and elbow with live clinical examinations of the shoulder, scapula and elbow. Attendees also learned how to analyze practical problems associated with common baseball musculoskeletal injuries.

Freivogel, a graduate of Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences, has been with Lawrence Orthopaedic Surgery since 1996. He is also The Kansas Center for Athletic Medicine program director; a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Kansas Physical Therapy Association and a member of the Sports Physical Therapy Section of APTA. He was instrumental in starting KCAM in 1996.
