Kline delivers records

? Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline turned over medical records to Attorney General Steve Six as required by the Kansas Supreme Court.

Six spokeswoman Ashley Anstaett said Kline delivered the documents Friday and they were “organized as directed by the Supreme Court.”

The records were from patients at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Overland Park.

Kline obtained edited copies of the records as attorney general in 2003-07 but didn’t file charges against the clinic until he became district attorney. The case is pending, and Planned Parenthood has denied any wrongdoing.

Last week, the court ordered Kline to turn over a “full and complete and understandable” set of his materials to the attorney general’s office.

It allowed Kline to keep evidence he gathered against the clinic.
