Homes tour planned in Ottawa

Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will present its 2008 Christmas Homes Tour from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 14.

This year the tour will feature three homes and an apartment and music studio in Washburn Towers, which is a renovated, early 20th-century collegiate gothic school.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for a $10 donation at Chris’ Corner, Country Living, Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, Turner Flowers and the RMH Information Desk; or purchased the day of the tour at the RMH Information Desk for $12. A Holiday Open House at the hospital, 1301 South Main St., hosted by the Ransom Memorial Hospital Gift Shop, will feature unique gifts and refreshments. Tour participants also will be able to enjoy open admission to the Franklin County Historical Society Old Depot Museum at 135 West Tecumseh, which will feature Christmas decorations in historical settings.

The tour supports the Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Health Care Scholarship Fund.
