Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police and Lawrence Douglas-County Fire & Medical responded to a call Friday evening about a death in the 100 block of East 17th Terrace. A family member discovered an 81-year-old man was dead on his porch. According to police Sgt. Richard Nickell there was no “apparent sign of foul play,” but the death remained under investigation.
