Condition updates

¢ A condition update for Everardo Alvarez, Jr., 31, Lawrence, who was injured in two-vehicle accident near Tonganoxie on Aug. 7, was unavailable. A spokesman at Kansas University Hospital could neither confirm nor deny his presence there.

The passenger in Alvarez’s truck, Alfonso Corral-Valdez, 20, Tonganoxie, is in good condition at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The vehicle driven by Joshua Pearson, 30, Tonganoxie, was struck by Alvarez’s truck; Pearson was treated and released from Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
