JOMA Hillcrest Bowl, Ninth and Iowa, had a new owner and a new name. The business was to be known as Royal Crest Lanes and was owned by Tower, Inc., of Kansas City. Bill and Carol Graves were to manage the local lanes. The popular local bowling site had been bought from John Crumm of Wichita.
