Red Dog’s Dog Days community workouts have moved out of Kansas University’s Memorial Stadium as KU football practice gets under way.

Remaining summer workouts – 6 a.m., noon and 6 p.m. next Monday through Thursday – will be on the lawn on the northeastern side of the stadium near 11th and Mississippi streets.

And on Friday, known as T-shirt Day, only one workout will occur – at noon.

Fall workouts begin Aug. 12, at the same spot outside the stadium. Workout times are 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and runs will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturdays in the public parking lot at Eighth and Vermont streets.

A benefit run for the Boys and Girls Club will begin at 8 a.m. next Saturday on the Kansas River levee.
