Genomics pioneer’s lecture Thursday
J. Craig Venter, a well-known genomics expert, will deliver the Takeru Higuchi memorial lecture 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Woodruff Auditorium in the Kansas Union.
The lecture had been scheduled for December but had to be rescheduled because bad weather kept Venter from getting to Lawrence. Venter’s lecture is free and open to the public.
He also will deliver a more scientific lecture Thursday morning.
