Lawmakers to give health reform update

A legislative health forum will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department, 200 Maine.

The event aims to educate the public about health reform and pandemic preparedness. Area legislators have been invited to give an update on health reform in the Kansas 2008 legislative session. It is one of several forums organized by the Kansas Public Health Association being conducted across the state as part of National Public Health Week.

The forum is free and open to the public, and no registration is necessary. For more information, call 843-3060.
