The Lawrence Farmers Market rings the opening bell for the first time this season at 7 a.m. today.

The market goes until 11 a.m. and is located in the public parking lot between Eighth and Ninth streets between New Hampshire and Rhode Island streets. The market will run every week through the second Saturday in November.

There is also an afternoon market on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the public parking lot between 10th and 11th streets on the east side of Vermont Street.
