Kristin Piper, Lawrence, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors for the Kansas Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.

Piper is among four new directors elected by the foundation’s Kansas chapter, during the organization’s recent annual meeting.

Piper became involved with the Arthritis Foundation after her 7-year-old daughter, Kate, was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis five years ago. Piper also serves on three chapter committees: Fundraising; Public Health, Programs and Policy; and Lawrence Walk.
