The Lawrence High School varsity baseball game against Free State High School scheduled for 6 p.m. today has been canceled due to the rain and field conditions. Coaches are planning on playing the game Wednesday at the same time, but the official decision will be announced later.

Also, the LHS junior varsity and varsity softball games have been canceled today due to field conditions and rescheduled for Wednesday. The games will be played at the Shawnee Missions District softball complex, 6101 Maurer Road in Shawnee. Game times will 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Free State’s softball game also is postponed for today until Wednesday.

Lawrence High school tennis is also canceled for today.
