The Stull Family and Community Education unit will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Nancy Marshall.
Judy Wulfkuhle will give the lesson on “Respect: A Character Counts.”

¢Douglas County Family and Community Education, in cooperation with K-State Research and Extension’s Family and Consumer Sciences, is offering the program “Woman to Woman : Celebrating You!” at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 12 in Deal Six Auditorium at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St.
The presentation, by Marciana Vequist, of the Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, will address self-esteem, depression and other issues related to stress.
The event is part of a continuing series on women’s health.
The free program is open to the public. Registration is requested by calling 843-7058. The registration deadline is Friday.
