¢ Local Half Marathoners Shine: Lawrence’s Alison Donnelly won her age group (20-24) and placed 15th overall with a time of 1:35:58 at the Lewis&Clark Half Marathon on Sunday. Jake Hope was fourth in men’s 55-59 in 1:34:52. Ellen Young was seventh in 50-54 in 1:58:45. John Frydman was 25th in his age group in 1:40:26, and Brad Bond was 50th in his age group in 1:58:35.

¢ Rebels Champs: The 14-U Kansas Rebels won the Fall Ball Classic AAA/Major baseball championship Sept. 15-16 at the 3&2 Baseball Complex in Shawnee.
