Talking teens

To the editor:

Since rules are being made to prevent more teen-related driving accidents or fatalities, I think teens should not use cell phones while driving. In fact, I think nobody should use cell phones while driving because of the distraction.

One can argue about other distractions or one’s right to free speech, but this is the obvious distraction and people who think they can multi-task like this sometimes leave dead or hurt victims. You can always talk later, but you can’t bring back a life.

California just passed the law about no teen driving while talking on cell phones and that’s a very good one.
