Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Computer equipment valued at more than $2,000 was taken between 2 p.m. and 11:13 p.m. Saturday from a residence in the 1100 block of Kentucky Street, a 20-year-old Lawrence woman told Lawrence Police. Equipment included a laptop computer and a printer.

¢ An 18-year-old Overland Park man told Lawrence Police on Sunday that his 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe was vandalized. Damage was listed at $3,300. The incident occurred between 10 p.m. Saturday and 2:13 a.m. Sunday while the vehicle was parked in the 1600 block of Edgehill Road.

¢ A wallet containing $300 in cash, and a laptop computer valued at $1,800 were taken from a residence in the 1100 block of Louisiana Street. A 19-year-old Lawrence man reported the thefts to Lawrence Police on Sunday.

¢ Lawrence Police are investigating the theft of $8,250 worth of property and cash taken Thursday night from a residence in the 2400 block of Alabama. A 46-year-old Lawrence woman reported the thefts. The property included computer equipment, a firebox safe, money, jewelry and an i-Pod.

¢ A 29-year-old Lawrence woman told Lawrence Police that her Dodge Neon valued at $4,000 was taken between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday. Other items, including clothes, tools, office supplies and a cell phone were in the car.
