Crumbine of the state health board is being summoned to talk to the city council on the important matter. Some, including university scientists, say the city water tends to be polluted and contain sewage. : Sheriff J.R. Woodward, as expected, has appointed his son, Roy, as the new deputy sheriff to replace the resigned Sel Ray. … Rain has ruined what would have been the most successful automobile meet in state history. What began as a gentle rain became a driving storm that put an end to all the many events that had been planned here. It was a loss to the community.”
