Law enforcement report

¢ A 42-year-old Lawrence woman on Sunday reported $2,000 in criminal damage to a garage door of a residence in the 5200 block of Stonecreek Court. The incident was reported shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday.

¢ Lawrence police investigated a report that an unidentified man inappropriately touched a 49-year-old Lawrence woman while the woman was walking in the 800 block of Massachusetts Street. The incident occurred about 12:45 p.m. Sept. 22. The woman said she was walking through the breezeway between Massachusetts and Vermont streets behind The Buckle, 805 Mass., when she felt someone reach under her skirt. She said she turned to see the man turn and run toward Eighth Street. The woman said she ran after the man and then called 911. Officers were unable to locate the suspect described as a white male, 5-foot-10 with a stout build, wearing jeans and a white T-shirt with red lettering on the back.

¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence woman reported to police that she was battered by an unidentified male after a verbal disagreement. The woman said she was at a house party in central Lawrence between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and 12:30 a.m. Sept. 30 when the incident occurred. The woman said she walked to the house’s backyard when a male approached her making degrading suggestions. The woman reported to police that when she refused to cooperate with the man, he punched her and shoved her and then let go of her and left the scene. Lawrence police, who investigated the incident, transported the woman to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment of lacerations. The suspect was described as a white male about 5-foot-7 with medium build, between 22 and 26 years old.

Condition update

¢ The Kansas University student injured in an early morning crash Sunday was no longer at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., on Monday. Kalen Siebert, 19, had been airlifted to the hospital Sunday following a single-vehicle accident on 23rd Street. The hospital had no further information Monday.
