LMH volunteer director presents at conference

Allyson Leland, director of volunteer services at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, presented at the 39th American Society of Directors of Volunteer Services Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference, conducted in August in San Antonio.

The conference, “Linking Our Profession, Our Partners, Our Communities,” was sponsored by the society, a professional group of the American Hospital Association.

Leland’s presentation, “Strategic Planning, The Missing Link,” was a concurrent session in the conference and was given in conjunction with the directors of volunteer services from Stormont-Vail Health Care in Topeka and Via Christi Regional Medical Center in Wichita.

About 600 professionals attended the conference.

Leland has worked at LMH for 17 years.
