Baylor, Texas rout meager competition

? Takia Starks scored 23 points and No. 13 Texas A&M beat Michigan 69-41 on Thursday night.

Danielle Gant added 12 points for the Aggies (5-1), who extended their home winning streak to 20 games dating to the 2005-06 season.

Janelle Cooper and Ta’Shia Walker led Michigan (4-2) with nine points each. The Wolverines had just five total assists, as many as Texas A&M’s A’Quonesia Franklin.

No. 10 Baylor 81, SE Missouri 51

Cape Girardeau, Mo. – Rachel Allison had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 10 Baylor to an 81-51 win over Southeast Missouri on Thursday night.

Danielle Wilson had 12 points and 12 rebounds and Jhasmin Player had 13 points and 10 assists for the Bears (6-0). Angela Tisdale added 18 points.

Tarina Nixon led Southeast Missouri (4-3) with 15 points. Sonya Daugherty added 12.

No. 24 Texas 76, Texas-Arlington 60

Austin, Texas – Brittainey Raven had 16 points and a career-high nine rebounds for Texas.
