Chicago markets

Soybean futures jumped higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while other futures slipped lower. Wheat for December delivery fell 15 cents to $7.46; December corn lost 4.75 cents to $3.7425; December oats dipped 1.5 cents to $2.84; January soybeans rose 10.75 cents to $10.57. On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, December live cattle rose 0.47 cent to 95.57 cents; January feeder cattle rose 0.28 cent to $1.0925; December lean hogs gained 1.5 cents to 54.05 cents; February pork bellies added 2.75 cents to 89.92 cents.
