Law enforcement report

¢ A 91-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman died after a two-car accident Saturday in Leavenworth. Another woman was flown to Kansas University Hospital for injuries. The condition of Kimberly Shrewsbury, 48, McClouth could not be confirmed or denied, according to a hospital official.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, at about 8:40 a.m. Shrewsbury was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram truck southbound on Kansas Highway 7 approaching a green light at Leavenworth Road. Mary E. Neal, who drove a 1994 Mercury, was traveling westbound preparing to turn left onto K-7 southbound in front of Shrewsbury’s truck. The truck rolled into a ditch and Neal’s car went into the center median.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 24-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man reported a broken windshield to Lawrence Police on Saturday. He reported that it was criminal damage and that it occurred between 12:45 a.m. and 2 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Abe and Jake’s Landing, 8 E. Sixth St. The damage is estimated at $1,100.
