K-32 collision kills Kansas City, Kan., man
A Kansas City, Kan., man died of injuries suffered in a collision Monday evening on Kansas Highway 32 east of Linwood. Another man was injured.
David M. Armstrong, 35, died at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Also taken to KU Hospital was Adam Crane, 22, of Potter. Hospital spokesmen said Tuesday they couldn’t confirm whether Crane was a patient there because of federal privacy laws.
Armstrong was driving a 2005 Chevrolet truck east on K-32 when it was struck by a 2000 Dodge truck Crane was driving west, according to a Highway Patrol report. The Dodge crossed the center line, according to the report.
The accident occurred at 6:45 p.m. about a mile east of Linwood.
