Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police early Tuesday searched in North Lawrence after receiving reports of a nude or seminude woman running in the area. Police found a 25-year-old Lawrence woman in the 1300 block of North Third Street. She was wearing only a bustier covered by a shirt. The woman told officers she just wanted to be taken home. Police found the woman’s car in the parking lot at Slow Ride Roadhouse, 1350 N. Third St. She was escorted home and an investigation is continuing.

¢ A 39-year-old Baldwin City man told Lawrence police that two teenage boys and a 21-year-old man beat and kicked him outside Cross Town Tavern, 1910 Haskell Ave. The incident occurred at 3:45 a.m. May 16. Police are sending information to the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office for review.

¢ Kansas University Public Safety officers are trying to contact a suspect involved in a report of sexual battery and lewd and lascivious behavior.

According to a KU Police report, the man entered an elevator at Jayhawker Towers, 1603 W. 15th St., about 9 p.m. Friday. He then exposed himself to another person in the elevator and rubbed against the person. Capt. Schuyler Bailey said the department was trying to reach the suspect Tuesday.

¢ Lawrence police arrested a 51-year-old Lawrence man Tuesday on suspicion of aggravated assault, battery and criminal damage.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 800 block of Michigan Street: Several Kansas University students reported the theft of personal items from a residence, including two laptop computers, a DVD player and $600 in cash between 11:45 p.m. Sunday and 2:45 a.m. Monday. The value of items taken was estimated at $1,865.

Injury accidents

¢ Lawrence Douglas County Fire & Medical took three people to Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a three-car wreck shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Winterbrook Drive.

The accident occurred when Lesnita Kalb, 21, was driving a Chevrolet Cavalier east and crossed the center line of the road while driving around a parked car, striking a Dodge Neon traveling the opposite direction.

Kalb, as well as the two people in the Neon, Katoya Logan, 23, and Zachary Parks, 22, were all treated at LMH and released.
