On Thursday May 10th, Big Brother Brandon Bean and Little Brother, Kendall, were matched in the community-based program at the local Big Brothers Big Sisters office.
The two were first matched as part of the Bigs in Schools program at Broken Arrow Elementary School. While matched in the site-based program, the two met during Kendall's study period. Brandon and Kendall often spent their time working on school work and just hanging out talking. After getting to know each other during the school year, they decided to convert their match to a community-based match, one where they are free to spend time together outside of Kendall's school.
On Thursday, Brandon and Kendall officially converted their match. Now much of their time will likely be spent playing sports, going to movies, and enjoying outside activities together each week.
