Kansas University’s Public Safety Office issued a crime alert Thursday after a female KU student’s purse was stolen.

According to a police report, the woman was walking near Jayhawk Boulevard and Lilac Lane on the KU campus when three male suspects stole her purse.

The suspects, who Capt. Schuyler Bailey of the KU Public Safety Office said were juveniles, then ran away behind Watson Library.

KU officers arrested two of them; one remains at large.
