Vinland Fair fundraiser slated for Saturday
Vinland Fair’s centennial year will begin Saturday with a longtime favorite – a pancake supper.
The Whole-Hog Sausage and Pancake Supper will be from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the fair’s Exhibition Building, which is on the National Registry of Historic Places.
About 375 people are expected to attend the supper, a benefit for the annual fair, which will be Aug. 9-12.
The supper, which was started about 50 years ago, is set up by community volunteers and fair board members.
