St. Patrick’s Day Parade winners named
Winners have been announced in Saturdays’ 20th annual Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The winners were:
Commercial float award: Pet World, first place; Berry Plastics, second place; Music Club House, third place; Red Lyon, Pawsh Wash, honorable mention.
Family float award: Jayhawk Model Masters RC Club, first place; Curtiss Clan, second place; WRAP Program at Bert Nash Community Health Center, third place; Art Tougeau, honorable mention.
Grand prize: The Sandbar; Combs Customer Cycle/Slow Ride Roadhouse, honorable mention; Lawrence Humane Society, honorable mention.
Best-dressed wee Irish folk: Kendall Feurt, 4 months; Little Miss Shamrock, honorable mention.
Best-dressed adult Irish folk: Ben Gerrand.
