Lawrence’s Golf USA raised more than $1,000 and collected 2,500 golf clubs as part of a fundraiser in cooperation with the Give to the Troops organization.

The clubs and money will be donated to U.S. troops deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan and other overseas locations. A Tennessee truck company has donated its services to ship the clubs from Lawrence to the Give to the Troops organization.

Golf USA is no longer accepting donations of golf clubs, but it will take cash donations to pass onto the organization. For more information, visit www.my-space.com/golfusalawrence.
