Brady Swenson has been named director of online marketing for Absorbent, Ink., a Lawrence-based provider of promotional products. Swenson’s tasks include search engine marketing, search engine optimization and online advertising.

Before joining Absorbent, Ink., Swenson worked as a Web programmer for the Kansas Department of Insurance, and he recently founded Two Hands Worldshop, an online store that offers certified Fair Trade products from around the world. Swenson earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Kansas University.

Founded in 2000, Absorbent, Ink. is a division of Pilgrim Page, a Lawrence-based full-service graphic design firm.
