One person was arrested and two more were being sought Tuesday by Lawrence police following an early-morning beating and robbery in the 3900 block of Harvard Road.

Shortly after 3 a.m. Tuesday, a 28-year-old Lawrence man told police he was followed home from a local club by two men and a woman. One of the men beat him and took his wallet. The victim refused medical treatment.

Police began investigating and discovered that the victim’s credit card had been used at several Lawrence businesses. An employee at one of the businesses identified a suspect. The suspect’s vehicle was found in the 100 block of Maple Lane. A 24-year-old man at the residence was arrested for aggravated robbery, police said.

An investigation is continuing. The other two suspects are a 30-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from Lawrence, police said.
