Voter forum set for candidates
Lawrence City Commission and school board candidates will participate Monday in a voter forum.
Candidates for both races will take questions from members of the Voter Education Coalition, a group of Lawrence organizations and businesses that have banded together to have forums during the campaign season.
The forum is set for 7 p.m. Monday at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt. The City Commission portion of the forum will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The school board portion will be from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Voter Education Coalition also will have forums at 7 p.m. March 14 at City Hall, Sixth and Massachusetts streets, and March 28 at Lawrence High School, 19th and Louisiana streets.
