Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police were called to Jade Mongolian Barbeque on Feb. 18 on a report that a 2-year-old girl was struck by a man and knocked to the floor. A witness told police he saw the incident occur while the child was seated in the restaurant with a man and a woman. Police subsequently interviewed a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman in connection with the incident. A report was forwarded to the district attorney’s office, as well as to Kansas Social and Rehabilitation Services for review.
