Law enforcement report

¢ A 29-year-old Lawrence man was arrested at 5:20 a.m. Sunday outside the HyVee at 3504 Clinton Parkway for reportedly running naked through the parking lot. Police found the man hiding behind some bushes on the west side of the building.

Injury accidents

¢ Allena L. Ross, a 46-year-old Lawrence woman, was involved in a vehicle crash at 4:25 p.m. Saturday at mile marker 203 of the Kansas Turnpike, between the East and West Lawrence exits.

Ross, who was driving a 2005 Hyundai, reportedly sneezed and lost control of her vehicle, causing the car to strike both bridge walls. It stopped in the inside lane, blocking traffic.

Ross and a 78-year-old female passenger, Mercer Smith of Kansas City, Kan., were transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where they were treated and released, according to a nursing supervisor.
