Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Lawrence police are investigating the theft of several items early Monday in the 1500 block of Harper Street. A 36-year-old man told police he woke up in his vehicle to find his shoes were lying in the grass outside his car. Taken from him were $1,200 in cash, a gold bracelet and a $2,300 ring. Police are seeking two women in connection with the incident.

¢ A 44-year-old woman reported to Lawrence police that someone took two diamond rings and a gold band valued together at $1,200. The thefts occurred between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. May 24 in the 1900 block of West 31st Street.

¢ Two Lawrence women in their 20s told Lawrence police that someone took cash, earrings and a laptop computer from them between 2:30 p.m. and 10:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Gateway Court. Losses were listed at $2,890.

¢ Lawrence police are investigating the theft of tools and other items valued at $1,367. The thefts were reported Thursday by a 49-year-old Lawrence man. The items were taken from the victim’s truck, which was in the 1800 block of Maine Street.

¢ An 18-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of several Xbox and PlayStation 2 video games and other items from a residence in the 2400 block of Cedarwood Avenue between 3:30 and 11 p.m. Sunday. The value of the items taken was about $1,589.
