The Lawrence Coalition for Peace and Justice is accepting nominations for the 2007 Tom and Annie Moore Peace and Justice Award.

The award recognizes individuals or organizations that exemplify peace and justice goals through practical and constructive work locally, nationally or internationally.

Any Douglas County organization or resident is eligible for the award. A committee of coalition members and local residents will review nominations. Nominations should be sent to Lawrence Coalition for Peace and Justice, in care of Allan Hanson, 1628 Dudley Court, Lawrence 66044.

Nominations must be received by March 9. Include names and phone numbers. Self-nominations are welcome. Winners will be announced in April.
