Half-marathon Champs: Theodore Roundface and Santiago Morales, both of Lawrence, finished first and third respectively in the men’s division of the Topeka-to-Auburn half-marathon. Age-group winners from Lawrence were Dee Boeck, Jodie Smith, Kelly Gunn, Scott McVey and Tom Kreissler. Dan Kuhlman finished second in his age group, and thirds went to Steve Riley, Karen Hyde, Sarah Sinning, John Walton and Jackie Shon.

¢Hooper Clinic: Former Lawrence High baseball player Kevin Hooper, now in the Detroit Tigers organization, will conduct an infield clinic for baseball and softball players in grades 4-12 on Sunday at LHS. For information, call Brad Stoll at 832-8284.
