Tonganoxie – Ali Pistora scored 10 points, and Elizabeth Baska and Rachel Bogard scored seven apiece as Tonganoxie remained unbeaten by defeating Mill Valley, 41-35, on Friday night in high school girls basketball.

Tonganoxie (8-0) will play Leavenworth Immaculata at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Tonganoxie Invitational.

Perry-Lecompton 51, Leavenworth Immaculata 47

Perry – Maggie McPherson scored 15 points, and the Kaws claimed their second victory of the season.

Perry-Lecompton (2-7) will play Tuesday at home against Oskaloosa.

Perry – Andy Bowman scored 12 points, and the Kaws won their third in a row to get back to .500. Joel Gantz and Kyle Morgison added 10 points apiece.

Perry-Lecompton will play Jefferson North on Tuesday in the McLouth Tournament.

Mill Valley 62, Tonganoxie 44

Tonganoxie – The Chieftains trailed by just three at halftime but failed to muster much offense in the second half as the Jaguars pulled away.

Tonganoxie fell to 6-2 and will play host to Jefferson West on Tuesday.
