Law enforcement report
¢ Lawrence police are investigating a possible robbery early Monday at AllStars, 913 N. Second St., when a man alleged another man with a handgun confronted him and demanded money. The victim told police he gave the man $3, went home and called officers.
¢ Lawrence police are investigating a possible assault reported Friday night at The Granada, 1020 Mass., where a 29-year-old male employee alleged that an unidentified man threatened him with a knife but then left the business when the employee called police.
¢ Lawrence police are investigating the theft of property valued at $2,795 and damage to a door between 5 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday at the Korean Presbyterian Church, 715 N. Fifth St.
¢ A Kansas University student reported more than $13,000 in damage to her vehicle overnight Feb. 20 in the 1200 block of West 19th Terrace.
¢ The Tonganoxie Township fire department rescued a dog trapped in an ice-encased pond about 9:15 p.m. Sunday. The dog was returned to owner Keith Finch, Tonganoxie, who took the dog to the vet.
¢ Cordley School staff reported graffiti to Lawrence Police. Between 8 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday, someone spray-painted on the front door, north door and northeast corner of the school, 1837 Vt. School staff worked to remove the graffiti.
Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that someone falsified a check for $3,297 to commit fraud against a 19-year-old Lawrence man between 11 a.m. Feb. 8 and midnight Friday.
The Lawrence man reported someone called him and wanted to purchase a television he listed for sale on the Internet. The Lawrence man alleges he received a fake check for more than the amount of the television and remitted the extra money to the suspect.
¢ Lawrence police are investigating the alleged theft of $2,080 worth of items, including a Pepsi machine and a dryer, Feb. 19 from property in the 2300 block of Ridge Court.
¢ Lawrence Police are investigating the reported theft of more than $1,300 worth of merchandise from Family Dollar, 711 W. 23rd St.
Between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, someone broke into the business and took items including 76 pairs of sunglasses and three 20-gallon trash cans. Other stolen items include radios, CD players and a portable stereo.
Police think the suspect received a cut during the burglary.

Condition updates
¢ Amanda Trei, a 29-year-old Lawrence resident and Hillcrest School teacher, was in good condition Monday at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, spokeswoman Gene Hallinan said. Trei was injured Sunday in a car wreck on Interstate 435 in Wyandotte County.
