Jayhawks clinging to first place

? The Kansas University men’s golf team stands at the top of the leaderboard after the first day of play at the All-American.

The Jayhawks shot an opening-round 294, then followed with an even-par score of 288 in the second round.

Senior Gary Woodland is leading the individual portion of the tournament with a 4-under score of 140 after two rounds. The Topeka native has amassed 10 birdies.

Today’s final round is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
