Allen Press Inc., a Lawrence-based provider of printing and publishing services, has named Mike Joseph as its new publishing services manager, responsible for services provided to professional and scientific societies for the company’s 31 publications.

Joseph has more than 18 years of experience in publishing and communications, including development of advanced print and online management processes, strategic planning, new product launches and branding campaigns, demographic market analysis, and communications industry media relations.

Joseph earned a degree in public communications from Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and is an alumnus of Ohio University, where he studied radio and television broadcasting.
