Helen Foresman Spencer, highly regarded benefactor for Kansas University, died at her Kansas City, Mo., home as the result of a heart attack. She had been instrumental in providing millions of dollars for worthy projects at KU and Baker University. The Kenneth Spencer Research Library was a result of her efforts as well as the new Helen Foresman Spencer Museum of Art at KU.
