Olathe ? Lawrence High’s Alex Boyer won the 200-yard freestyle, and Free State’s Nolan Frank placed second in the 100-yard backstroke Saturday at the Olathe Invitational swim meet.

Boyer’s 200 free time was 1:51.98, and Frank’s time in the 100 backstroke was 58.42.

Free State place ninth in the team standings and LHS 10th.

SM East won the meet with 349 points. Free State totaled 68 and Lawrence High 35.

Next action for both Free State and Lawrence High will be Jan. 3 in a quadrangular at Lawrence High. SM North and Leavenworth also will compete.
