Environmental fund announces 2007 grants
The Douglas County Community Foundation has announced the Elizabeth Schultz Environmental Fund has awarded grants totaling nearly $20,000 to five local organizations to preserve and understand nature.
The grants were given to Grassland Heritage Foundation, Operation Wildlife Inc., Friends of the Kaw, Kansas Audio-Reader Network and Kansas University Natural History Museum.
